Electric Vehicle Council

The Australian Electric Vehicle Council is a representative body made up of participants from across the scope of electric vehicle industries, leading the push to increase the uptake of electric vehicles in Australia.

Council members include representatives from the automotive, technology, energy, academic and consumer sectors.

The goals of the Australian Electric Vehicle Council are to advocate for the electric vehicle industry in Australia at the national, state and local level, to drive the uptake of electric vehicles by:
● identifying and addressing the barriers to uptake;
● co-ordinating jurisdictional efforts (coming from both different governments and industries);
● facilitating the initial mass market by connecting demand to supply, and
● raising consumer awareness.
